Starwood Hotels & Resorts Selects GlobalEnglish to Provide Online English Training Worldwide

February 7, 2006 — GlobalEnglish Corporation, the leading online English learning and support service provider for business communication, today announced that Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. (NYSE: HOT) has signed a multiyear agreement. The GlobalEnglish Corporate Learning Service will be made available to more than 120,000 Starwood Hotel associates in 80 countries.

Among the goals for the program is increasing employee mobility. According to Starwood, strong English skills will enable employees to earn promotions more quickly and accept assignments in the United States and around the world. In addition, better communication enhances guest service and teamwork.
