GlobalEnglish Board of Directors Appoints Deepak Desai as President and CEO

December 6, 2005 — GlobalEnglish Corporation, the leading online English learning and support service provider for business communication, announced today that GlobalEnglish Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Asian Operations, Deepak Desai, has been named President and Chief Executive Officer. Desai succeeds Ron Hoge, who has been named Vice Chairman of the GlobalEnglish Board of Directors and will remain active in determining the strategic direction of the organization.

"When I became CEO four years ago, our goal was to grow our corporate business and become a leading provider of online English language training for global corporations. Prior to joining GlobalEnglish® in 2002, Desai spent twelve years in senior financial positions with Time Warner. From 1995 to 1999, he served as General Manager/CFO for Time Life Asia, managing the children's education, ESL and direct marketing businesses.
