Mahesh Ram
Chief Executive Officer and Director
Mahesh Ram has over 20 years of senior management experience with leading technology companies. Most recently, he served as the Executive Vice President of Product Development for GlobalEnglish. Before joining GlobalEnglish, he held a variety of senior management positions with The Thomson Corporation, including Chief Technology Officer of Thomson Learning/AlignMark, a leading Web-based learning and assessment company serving corporate and education customers. Mr. Ram received a BS in biology and a BA in American history from the University of Pennsylvania and an Advanced Information Technology Management (AITM) Certificate from Columbia University.

Tom Kahl
President and Director
Tom Kahl is responsible for global sales, sales operations and customer support. Prior to becoming President, he served as Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales for GlobalEnglish, helping the company achieve significant sales growth. Prior to joining GlobalEnglish, he spent seven years with SmartForce (now SkillSoft), serving in various management positions, including Vice President of EMEA, with responsibility for sales, support, marketing and operations. Mr. Kahl received his BS from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Roger Piskulick
Chief Financial Officer
Roger Piskulick has over 20 years of experience in finance and public accounting. Since 2007, he has held positions as Vice President of Finance Operations at The Active Network, Inc. and Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer at Cheyenne Mountain Entertainment, Inc., a start-up developer of interactive entertainment software. Prior to this, he served as Vice President of Finance and Operations at Blackboard Inc., where he helped lead the company to one of the most successful technology IPOs of 2004. Mr. Piskulick holds a BS from Arizona State University and is a certified public accountant.

Sam Neff
Senior Vice President, Innovation and Platforms
Sam Neff has over 20 years of experience in the field of educational software. Prior to joining GlobalEnglish, Mr. Neff designed and engineered educational software for Sensei Software, and personal investment software for Intuit. Mr. Neff received his BA in psychology from Stanford University and his MS in computer science from San Francisco State University.

Antonio Pastor
Vice President, Corporate Sales
In his role as Vice President Corporate Sales, Antonio Pastor leads our sales organization in Latin America and in a select number of European markets including Spain, Italy, Czech Republic, Hungary and Turkey. Mr. Pastor joined GlobalEnglish in 2004 and lead the company’s growth in Latin America including the development of a partner network. Mr. Pastor has over 15 years of sales, market development and management experience focused on emerging markets with fast-growing technology companies. Prior to joining GlobalEnglish, Mr. Pastor dedicated 7 years in various management roles at Smartforce (acquired by Skillsoft in 2002) including Latin American Business Development Director and EMEA Channel Sales Director. Mr. Pastor received his BA in Economics and Political Science from the University of Connecticut and is fluent in Spanish, Portuguese and his native language English.

Mark Lam
Regional Vice President, Corporate Sales - Asia-Pacific
Mark Lam has over 20 years of sales, management consulting and executive experience in technology and fast-growing companies. Prior to joining GlobalEnglish, he held a variety of management positions with Oracle Corporation, including General Manager for Commercial Accounts and Sales Director for Global MNC Accounts in the greater China region. Previously, Mr. Lam was also the co-founder and CEO of e2e Business Solutions in China and held Asia-Pacific management roles at Sybase, System Software Associates and Apriso Software. Mr. Lam received a BS in Computer Science from Simon Fraser University in Canada and an MBA from California State University, East Bay.

Julian Wragg
Regional Vice President, Corporate Sales - EMEA
Julian Wragg has over 20 years of sales and marketing experience in the technology-based learning industry. Based in the U.K., Mr. Wragg joined GlobalEnglish in June 2003 as an Account Executive and became Director of Corporate Sales EMEA in January 2007. Since joining the company, he has played a leading role in the growth of GlobalEnglish in the U.K., Europe, Middle East and Africa. Prior to joining GlobalEnglish, Mr. Wragg spent 11 years at SmartForce (now SkillSoft), where he was instrumental in the company's rapid rise to market leader by growing their business in the U.K., Europe and the Middle East. Prior to SmartForce, he worked with Dun & Bradstreet and Dow Jones Telerate. Mr. Wragg graduated in Business Studies from London South Bank University.

Andy Pederson
Regional Vice President, Corporate Sales - North America
Andy Pederson has more than 20 years of sales and leadership experience, including the last 15 years in the corporate enterprise e-learning industry. Throughout his career, Mr. Pederson has consistently played a vital role in building and motivating high-performance teams to achieve record growth. Since joining GlobalEnglish in 2008, Mr. Pederson has also led and executed successful globalization strategies with several key Fortune 100 clients. Mr. Pederson holds a BS and BA in Marketing and Economics from California State University, Chico.

Alex Lowrie
Senior Director, Strategic Account Management
Alex Lowrie brings deep functional experience from 14 years in the education and corporate learning markets where he held consulting, operational, product and leadership positions. His team supports GlobalEnglish’s multi-national clients by ensuring they leverage our solutions to maximize business impact. Prior to joining GlobalEnglish, Mr. Lowrie led the Convergys (now NorthgateArinso) Learning and Performance Management BPO practice. He completed undergraduate studies at the University of California at Davis and holds a MEd with Instructional Technologies emphasis from San Francisco State University.

Heena Mistry
Director, Human Resources
Heena Mistry is responsible for the Talent Management team at GlobalEnglish and provides our managers and employees with a global HR vision and direction. Before joining GlobalEnglish, she led the HR efforts of Iron Mountain Digital where she managed a diverse global workforce from the UK to India. Prior to that, she held HR positions with ever increasing responsibility in the semiconductor and financial services industry. Ms. Mistry completed her undergraduate degree at San Jose State University with an emphasis on Business Management. Most recently, Ms. Mistry received her SPHR Certification in Professional Human Resources Management.
