Karine Allouche Salanon
CEO and Global Manager Corporate Channel
Karine is a dynamic and dedicated leader offering a wealth of technology industry experience to oversee new business and drive necessary change within fast-paced environments. She has evolved from marketing to channel development, gaining channel sales responsibilities and sales leadership experience with industry leaders such as Symantec, Oracle and lately Microsoft. She has demonstrated international business expertise in emerging and mature markets while working internationally for most of her career. She has proven strength in growing revenue and has demonstrated expertise in driving business turnarounds in her role as the Central Eastern Europe’s Microsoft Dynamics CRM market leader. She is adept in developing and defining strategy, vision and objectives for extensive global teams thanks to her experience in corporate partner leadership roles for the last two years at Microsoft. Mrs. Karine Allouche Salanon graduated from the EDHEC Business School, a European Ivy League school ranked #12 globally by the Financial Times. She is a member of Women’s Leadership in Technology and ALICE and is an advisor to Silicon Valley start-ups in the mobile and social media industries.
Vice President, Business Solutions & GTM
Nicole Brown has extensive and proven experience in software, hardware and services consulting. In her current role with Pearson English, Ms. Brown leads the Global Business Solutions and Go-To-Market strategy, overseeing all aspects of market requirements that drive product offerings and market placement. Ms. Brown focuses her career and civic outreach on how technology changes the lives of how people engage and interact globally. Backed by a bachelor's degree in international marketing and business from Southern New Hampshire University, she went into technology with the market transition and introduction of CD-ROM networking and optical storage retrieval management solutions. An innovative executive strategist, Nicole has a proven track record of building high-performance product marketing and field channel sales functions from the ground up — as well as penetrating new markets and expanding in existing ones. She has been instrumental in establishing start-ups and positioning Fortune 25 companies as leaders in their respective technology marketplaces. Most recently at Cisco serving as the Director/CMO of the Cisco Collaboration Technology Group for Mobile Cloud SaaS Collaboration Applications as well as Chief of Staff for product and Solutions Marketing. She also served as the Communications Marketing Organizational lead across Cisco’s Engineering Developer Group initiatives. In that role, she was responsible for establishing segmentation strategy, building enterprise credibility through SaaS applications and creating external passion for Cisco’s Unified Communications and Collaboration APIs. Prior to joining Cisco, she worked in senior positions at several companies, including Microsoft, Loudcloud and Breakaway Solutions. In more than six years at Microsoft, most notable was her efforts leading the product marketing and developer evangelism team enabling ISVs worldwide with Microsoft technology. Nicole has earned several executive awards and holds a Master’s of Science.
Valentine de Roubaix
Director Customer Delivery and Support
Valentine de Roubaix joined the Pearson English Business Solutions team in January 2008, as a Customer Success Manager and Team Lead for our Latin and North America CSM teams. Since January 2014, she leads our Managed Service department and is in charge of our Customer Success, Customer Support, Shared Services and Professional Services areas. She brings over 9 years of expertise, passion and enthusiasm in terms of Customer Success and Services. Prior to Pearson English Business Solutions, Ms. de Roubaix worked for a private Mexican company specialized in selling and implementing Education Technology solutions. She also spent 5 years working for the Mexico government. She graduated in Political Sciences and International Relations, and holds a Specialized Diploma in European Studies, from the University of Louvain-La-Neuve (Belgium). She is fluent in French, Spanish and English.
Vice President, Global Sales
In his role as Vice President, Global Sales, Jim Griffin leads our sales organization. Mr. Griffin joined Pearson English Business Solutions in 2014 and brings 24+ years experience in Enterprise Software Sales, Global Alliances, Services & Executive Leadership. Over the course of his career, Mr. Griffin's focus has been primarily in Enterprise, SaaS-based solutions including Business Performance, Talent Management, Human Resources, Healthcare, Outsourcing, Benefits, Payroll, Time & Labor management, and Business Execution.
Market Leader US and Canada
Dean has been working in the learning and talent development industry for more than 20 years. His experience spans more than two decades working with some of the world’s largest organizations to implement solutions that meet the learning objectives of their global audiences. As Senior Director of Sales, Mr. Cooper is responsible for the overall management of direct sales, account management and support in the USA and Canada. Dean has lived in Asia, Europe and the USA and is energized by interacting with people from all different parts of the world. Dean completed his undergraduate studies in Computer Science at the University of Manchester.
Market Leader Japan and India
Bob has over 15 years experience working for technology-based learning organizations. In his current role as Senior Director, Sales, he manages direct sales, account management and partner relationships for all Pearson English Corporate Channel operations in Asia (Japan, Korea, SEA) and India. Prior to Pearson English Business Solutions, Bob managed his own consulting business in Madrid specializing in Business English communication training and skills development for corporations and government institutions. Bob has also worked extensively in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry, both on the client and vendor side, specializing in market research, forecasting and retail sales analysis. He has a B.S. In Biomedical Engineering and an M.B.A, both from Boston University.
Market Leader, Spain, Portugal, Italy, France, and Middle East
Mr. Martini has over 15 years of professional experience: both in the petroleum industry, as well as the roles leading up to his current position as Senior Sales Director EMEA. He joined Pearson English in 2008 and has had several roles in the organization in Europe. Currently, he is responsible for the overall management of direct sales in Southern Europe and the Middle East. Mr. Martini has dual citizenship (Italy/USA) and has lived around the world, in Costa Rica, Italy and the United Sates. Mr. Martini completed his undergraduate studies in International Business at Gannon University and his MBA at Clemson University.
